Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 with National Senior Certificate.
• Degree or Diploma (NQF Level 5/6) in Financial, Marketing, or related field with FAIS Approved.
• 3–5 years in a sales role, with success in acquiring new business and cross-selling.
• Experience analysing financial statements and assessing credit.
• Experience acquiring SME clients and growing a business banking portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new primary accounts by sourcing leads and following through on plans.
• Maximise client profitability by matching products to needs.
• Cross-sell and service to meet identified client needs.
• Retain clients by meeting all banking needs with Nedbank.
• Source leads through networks, referrals and marketing activities.
• Conduct needs analysis and ensure compliance with Nedbank processes and FAIS.
• Provide accurate advice, maintain knowledge, and upskill.
• Provide training and demonstrations to help clients use products.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Collaborate across departments to secure new accounts.
• Stay updated on legislation and industry changes and align with Nedbank vision.
• Identify training and career progression opportunities for self.
