Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering vocational training or skills development programs.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging training content.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills.
• Understanding of the South African skills development landscape and SETAs.
• Experience working with unemployed youth or marginalized groups is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging training modules on a range of vocational and soft skills.
• Assess the training needs of participants and tailor content accordingly.
• Facilitate interactive training sessions, workshops, and practical exercises.
• Monitor participant progress, provide feedback, and conduct assessments.
• Collaborate with the employment unit to link trainees with job opportunities in Kimberley.
• Maintain accurate training records and prepare progress reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in skills development and adult education.

This role involves designing and delivering practical skills training to unemployed youth and adults, equipping them with the competencies needed to secure sustainable employment. You will play a key role in curriculum development, training delivery, and participant support, fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in vocational training, excellent communication skills, and a passion for empowering individuals in the Kimberley region.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Understanding of the South African skills development landscape and relevant SETAs.
• Experience working with unemployed youth or marginalized groups is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Based in or willing to travel regularly to Kimberley .
• Relevant assessor and moderator certification is highly desirable.
