Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects in Midrand. You will ensure on-site operations are safe, efficient, and meet quality standards, leading diverse teams to deadlines and budgets.

The successful candidate will coordinate site personnel, ensure compliance with plans, read blueprints, enforce health and safety, and liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to drive smooth progress.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role in the construction sector.
• Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Coordinate and manage all site personnel, including subcontractors, tradespeople, and laborers, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Implement and enforce strict health and safety regulations on site, conducting regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain the schedule.
• Maintain accurate daily site logs, including progress reports, incident reports, and material usage records.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to address site-specific queries and ensure smooth project progression.
