Job summary

Enaex in South Africa seeks an experienced blasting supervisor to align production plans with site priorities and to coordinate blasting activities with engineers and geologists. The role covers scheduling blasting works and overseeing on-site equipment maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.

You will manage risk assessments, PPE stock, and training sessions to close gaps and improve safety performance while ensuring contractor compliance and detailed incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Align production plans with site priorities and coordinate blasting activities.
• Develop detailed blasting plans with engineers and geologists.
• Manage PPE stock, tools, and equipment.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety controls.
• Oversee PTOs, training sessions, and training documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end flow of materials, including ordering, transportation, and storage.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and report explosive-related incidents.
• Ensure compliance with Enaex work instructions and safety protocols.
• Maintain contractor pack compliance and regulatory documentation.
