Job summary

An experienced Blasting & Cementation Supervisor is sought by a leading manufacturing organisation in Gauteng to oversee production activities within its fabrication environment.

The role covers daily production planning, materials management, stock control and ensuring quality and on-time delivery. Strong organisational, analytical and technical abilities are essential to coordinate people, materials and production needs.

Exposure to SOPs, MIS reporting and safety practices is required.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of mechanical drawings.
• 3 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Excel; AutoCAD experience is advantageous.
• You will work with 5S/TQM tools to maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Daily Production Planning for blasting and cementing
• Weekly plan for aluminium cutting
• Monitor plan vs actual daily to ensure efficiency and zero production loss
• Ensure compliance with SOPs
• Prepare daily and monthly MIS
• Ensure availability of materials and consumables
• Maintain manpower coverage across all shifts
• Uphold good housekeeping and safe work practices
