AFMS Group (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee building services, manage contractors, and maintain strong client relationships across designated sites in the Western Cape. The role emphasizes quality control, reporting, and adherence to SLAs within a comprehensive facilities program.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years in facilities management, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification required.
• Diploma in Built Environment or related field preferred.
• Ability to motivate and manage staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 5 years experience in Facilities Management.
• Computer literate with MS Office.
• Knowledge of safety, fire and emergency procedures.
• Knowledge of SLAs and lease agreements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building services across multiple sites per SLA.
• Manage contractors and ensure SLA compliance.
• Provide regular client liaison and feedback.
• Coordinate invoicing and reporting for work orders.
• Prepare monthly management reports and highlight issues.
• Monitor and control on-site operational expenditure.
