Job summary

Honey Recruitment Specialists is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of multiple sites. You will ensure compliance with ISO standards, manage CAPEX within budget, and coordinate service providers to deliver integrated facilities management solutions.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience in commercial, retail, or industrial environments, strong MS Office skills, and a solid understanding of asset management, budgets, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification.
• 3–5 years relevant experience in commercial, retail, or industrial environments.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook and MDA.
• Strong knowledge of Facilities Management practices.
• Experience with building maintenance and asset management.
• Budget management skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce building condition assessment reports.
• Maintain asset registers and PPM schedules.
• Manage integrated facilities management solutions.
• Issue permits before on-site work.
• Manage service providers per SLAs and contracts.
• Ensure ISO 9001, 14001 & 18001 compliance.
• Conduct regular property inspections.
• Log calls and raise tickets for faults or services.
• Oversee capex within budget and repairs/maintenance.

Job description

With a focus on operational excellence and compliance, they are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the efficient functioning of their properties and ensure standards are consistently maintained, contributing to a seamless customer experience.

Duties

• Conduct and compile building condition assessment reports
• Ensure asset registers and PPM schedules are accurate and up to date
• Manage the delivery of integrated facilities management solutions
• Ensure work permits are issued before on-site work
• Implement and manage all service providers according to SLAs and contracts
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 & 18001 standards
• Conduct regular property inspections
• Manage all facilities-related services and contractors
• Log calls and raise tickets for faulty equipment or services
• Manage repairs, replacements, and stock control of lighting
• Coordinate electrical, plumbing, structural maintenance and repairs
• Review SLAs and performance with service providers
• Maintain and update document library
• Provide accurate monthly reports on tickets, OH&S, SLA performance, budget, and ad hoc works
• Manage all capex within budget and oversee repairs and maintenance

Requirements
