Job summary

Exceed HR and Recruitment in Stellenbosch is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the wellbeing, safety and daily functionality of multiple buildings. The role includes planning preventative maintenance, coordinating contractors, and ensuring compliance with OHS standards and ISO guidelines.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of facilities experience, a relevant FM qualification, and strong supervisory and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Grade 12; tertiary qualification in FM or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in commercial/industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of OHS Act and ISO standards.
• Experience with CAPEX budgeting and cost control.
• Strong supervision, planning and scheduling skills.
• Proactive, organized and deadline-driven; good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage wellbeing, safety and functionality of buildings.
• Conduct annual building condition assessments and identify maintenance requirements.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with FM strategies, policies and regulations.
• Manage service providers and contractors under SLAs and contracts.
• Prepare monthly reports on tickets, OH&S, SLA performance, budgets and progress.
• Coordinate electrical, plumbing, structural and general maintenance.
• Monitor work quality and contractor performance.
• Oversee CAPEX within budget and identify cost efficiencies.
