The role requires a Civil Engineering degree or Diploma and at least five years of site experience. You will prepare reports, liaise with project managers, and drive efficient, compliant delivery across diverse projects.

• Experience in quality control procedures and safety management on site.

• Familiarity with Gauteng construction site operations and driving on-site execution.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction engineering activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and technical specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide construction work accurately.
• Conduct quality control inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Monitor construction progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on the construction site.
• Coordinate subcontractors and direct labor to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports detailing activities, challenges, and resolutions.
• Liaise with project managers, designers, and clients to resolve site-related queries.
• Maintain accurate site records of work done, materials used, and site conditions.
• Oversee correct use and maintenance of construction equipment and machinery.
