Placements24 is seeking a proactive Site Engineer to join our construction team in George. You will oversee day-to-day on-site operations, liaise with contractors and stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Site Engineer on construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities and personnel.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, health and safety standards, and quality control procedures.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, and ensure they are followed accurately.
• Coordinate with the project manager on scheduling, resource allocation, and progress reporting.
• Manage site logistics, including the delivery and storage of materials and equipment.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and design discrepancies that arise during construction.
