Placements24 seeks a proactive Site Engineer to oversee civil construction projects in Bloemfontein. You will supervise on-site activities, interpret drawings, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 4+ years of supervision experience. You’ll lead inspections, report progress, and contribute to delivering infrastructure on time in the Free State.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction supervision and site management.
• Proven understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Experience with project scheduling and progress monitoring.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure project milestones are met.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
• Coordinate and liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Perform quality control checks and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare site progress reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly updates.
