Job summary

Haleon is seeking an experienced EHS and Compliance Manager to lead our on-site environmental, health and safety program in Cape Town. You will develop, implement and maintain management systems to protect employees and minimize risk.

You will advise site leadership, ensure regulatory alignment, and drive continuous improvement through audits, incident investigations and performance reporting. Collaborating with Quality, Engineering and HR, you will embed Haleon's standards across the site and

Responsibilities

• Monitor & report EHS performance; share lessons across sites.
• Ensure site EHS objectives align to corporate plan.
• Investigate incidents and high-potential events; implement corrective actions.
• Lead risk assessments focusing on human factors.
• Improve safety culture and encourage safe behaviours.
• Follow Haleon policies and embed into a site-specific system.
• Manage EHS department budget.
• Develop crisis management plans and business continuity.
• Integrate environmental management to reduce site impact.
• Ensure certification under relevant stewardship programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into site strategy.
• Foster relationships with EHS professionals across sites.
