Job summary

Haleon plc in Cape Town is seeking an EHS and Compliance Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety on site, developing, implementing and maintaining effective management systems. You will provide technical guidance to Site Engineering and EHS leadership to drive performance aligned with Haleon's vision.

The role focuses on reducing risk, ensuring regulatory compliance for air, water, waste and sustainability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into site

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences or related field with specialist EHS qualifications.
Nebosh Diploma or equivalent; Lead Auditor ISO 45001 experience preferred.
At least 6 years in EHS with FMCG or high-hazard exposure advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead the environmental, health and safety organization on site.
Develop, implement and maintain effective EHS management systems.
Monitor and report EHS performance; drive continuous improvement.
Oversee incident investigations and preventive actions; ensure learning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into site strategy.
Manage EHS budget and ensure regulatory compliance across air, water and waste.
