Placements24 is recruiting a Senior Drilling Supervisor to manage drilling operations at our client's site near Polokwane. You will lead drill crews, coordinate equipment, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to plan for exploration, production, or geotechnical projects.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on drilling experience in mining, a proven track record of managing teams, and solid knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on drilling experience required.
• Experience in mining drilling operations on-site.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in mining.
• Proven leadership and team-management skills.
• Relevant certifications or vocational training in drilling operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all drilling crews on site.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company policies during drilling operations.
• Monitor drilling progress, equipment performance and resource utilization.
• Manage maintenance and repair schedules for drilling rigs and associated equipment.
• Train and mentor drilling personnel for safety and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with geologists and engineers to meet drilling targets and specifications.
