Job summary

RPO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Site Leader to drive a Solar PV project in the Vaal Triangle. This fixed-term assignment spans 18 months and involves coordination of large-scale construction and EPC activities.

You will need a Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Built Environment, a trade background, and formal NEC/FIDIC training. The role requires 10–12+ years on major infrastructure projects and at least 5 years in senior site leadership.

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years in construction of large infrastructure projects.
• 5+ years in a senior site leadership role.
• Experience on utility-scale renewable (50MW+) or similar EPC projects.
• Proven experience managing contractors, programme, HSE, and quality oversight.
• Formal training in NEC/FIDIC contracts is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site construction activities and coordinate with EPC teams.
• Oversee contractor management, schedule, HSE, and quality.
• Ensure NEC/FIDIC contract adherence and progress reporting.
• Maintain project documentation and compliance on 50MW+ solar scope.
