Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead on-site teams in the Mahikeng region. You will supervise daily site activities, coordinate trades and laborers, and ensure work meets plans, codes, and quality standards with a strong emphasis on safety.

The role requires solid practical knowledge of construction methods, leadership, and the ability to read construction drawings, while maintaining a safe, productive work environment and delivering projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Commitment to upholding safety standards and quality workmanship.
• Experience managing small to medium-sized construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of construction crews.
• Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and per plans and codes.
• Read blueprints and construction plans to guide work activities.
• Manage on-site material and equipment needs, coordinating with suppliers.
• Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Promote adherence to health and safety regulations on site.
