Job summary

Shift Pursuit in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Site Agent / Construction Manager to coordinate daily activities across multiple active sites, ensuring work complies with drawings, specifications and programmes.

The successful candidate will have sound knowledge of JBCC contracts, proven leadership over trades and subcontractors, and a strong focus on safety, quality, progress reporting and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Agent or Construction Manager or similar site-based role.
• Sound working knowledge of JBCC contracts.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities across multiple sites.
• Supervise trades, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications and programmes.
• Monitor progress and address delays or site-related challenges.
• Manage site activities per JBCC contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects and contractors.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on site.
• Maintain site documentation and progress reports.
• Oversee snagging, quality inspections and project handovers.
