Job summary

Express Employment Professionals Midrand seeks an experienced Shopfitting Project Manager to lead multiple on-site projects in Gauteng. You will oversee carpentry and joinery efforts, coordinate teams, manage timelines and budgets, and translate client requirements into practical designs for retail, display, and commercial interiors.

Proficiency in 3D modelling and CAD/SketchUp is required, with a keen eye for quality control and problem solving.

Qualifications

Matric with project management qualifications.
4–6 years in shopfitting industry.
Knowledge of carpentry, joinery, and custom furniture manufacturing.
Proficiency in 3D modelling and CAD/SketchUp.
Experience in operations management, project planning, and on-site coordination.
Ability to prepare cost estimates and quotations; manage budgets.
Knowledge of construction processes, materials and installation work.
Translate client requirements into practical designs and plans.
Strong quality control and attention to detail.
Ability to manage timelines, teams and multiple projects.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience in Retail Shopfitting, Custom Joinery, Display Solutions, Office Fit-Outs, Commercial Interiors, Project Management, and Manufacturing & Installation.
