Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a logistics professional to lead shipping, despatch and warehouse operations. You will plan and execute shipping plans, coordinate transport resources, and ensure smooth, compliant processes across receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.

The role requires coordinating with suppliers, customers and internal teams to optimise inventory, reduce costs and improve service levels. On-site, with strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics or Warehouse Management (NQF 6) or related field.
• Experience managing shipping and despatch operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and export documentation is beneficial.
• Experience with SAP inventory and shipping postings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Shipping and Administrative Despatch operations.
• Develop and execute Shipping plan aligned with Logistics strategy and budget.
• Plan loads with transport providers to maximize deck-space and load mass.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and documentation for shipped products.
