Crew Life at Sea Ltd. in Cape Town is seeking enthusiastic ex-crew professionals to join as Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinators.

You will assist with candidate recruitment, project coordination, and end-to-end onboarding, drawing on shipboard experience to prepare new candidates for life at sea. Responsibilities include screening applicants, interviewing, managing pipelines, coordinating onboarding steps (documentation, medicals, visas, training), and mentoring first-time seafarers.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks or projects.
Strong understanding of shipboard operations and crew life.

Responsibilities

Support recruitment by screening applicants and conducting interviews.
Manage candidate pipelines for cruise line clients and roles.
Coordinate onboarding including documentation, medicals, training, visas, and pre-departure briefings.
Liaise with cruise line reps for timely follow-up on assignments and deployment dates.
Provide guidance to first-time seafarers based on shipboard experience.
Maintain candidate records and track progress in internal systems.
Assist with talent development, academy coordination, and compliance projects.
Participate in career fairs, training seminars, or webinars.
