Placements24 is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to guide a shop-floor team in Vereeniging, ensuring efficient, safe execution of production tasks and consistent target achievement.

You will supervise daily operations, motivate staff, and champion quality and continuous improvement, while coordinating with maintenance and safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours if required to meet production demands.
• Must be reliable and committed to workplace safety and productivity in Vereeniging.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of production workers to achieve daily output goals.
• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Monitor production equipment performance and report any issues or necessary maintenance.
• Ensure all team members understand and follow operational procedures and best practices.
