Pro Talent is seeking a skilled Shift Setter in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal to drive production efficiency and ensure smooth manufacturing operations. The role requires setting machines, conducting mould trials, and maintaining machinery to high safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have 3–4 years’ experience as a Machinist with strong maintenance knowledge and a commitment to safety. Overtime may be required to meet targets.

Qualifikationen

• 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven skills as a Machinist, with strong maintenance knowledge.
• Technical proficiency in machine setup and operation.
• Ability to conduct mould and material trials effectively.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Aufgaben

• Achieve production efficiency of 85%–90% consistently.
• Ensure wastage from raw materials below 1.4%.
• Set machines according to best practices.
• Conduct mould and material trials.
• Report on and assist with machine and mould maintenance.
• Maintain machinery and moulds through servicing, storage and care.
• Produce top-quality products meeting standards.
• Adhere to high housekeeping and safety standards.
• Work overtime as required to meet targets.
