Job summary

Tiger Consumer Brands Limited is seeking a Shift Miller for our grain milling facilities in South Africa. The role requires oversight of the milling process on a shift to meet quality standards and customer specs, combining technical milling knowledge with quality control, maintenance and staff supervision.

Qualifications include SAGMA/GMF trade testing for wheat and/or maize milling, fumigation knowledge, and around 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified Wheat and/or Maize miller, SAGMA/GMF Trade Tested.
• Knowledge of fumigation on grain insects and management thereof.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in milling operations.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall production parameters.
• Ensure continuous equipment availability.
• Minimise milling downtime due to equipment breakdowns.
• Reduce milling and engineering costs.
• Adhere to Company policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Lead and develop the shift team to maintain high morale and productivity.
