Sasol seeks a SHE Ventilation Recorder to support safe mining operations in Secunda. The role focuses on ventilation monitoring, occupational hygiene audits, data management and reporting to uphold zero-harm targets.

You will assist with calibration of equipment, underground measurements and exposure investigations while coordinating monthly planning and audits. A valid driver’s license is required.

Formación

• National Senior Certificate/N3 with Maths and Science required.
• Mining environment control certificate desirable.
• 3+ years relevant mining or ventilation experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Monthly Ventilation and Occupational Hygiene audit and inspections.
• Report plotting and monthly planning.
• Adherence to personal monitoring schedules (airborne pollutants and noise).
• Updating databases with sampling results and data entry.
• Thermal stress measurement and report generation.
• Noise and Illumination measurements as per SLA.
• Underground ventilation monitoring and measurements.
• Follow-up on overexposure investigations.
• Gathering information for Occupational Illness investigations.
• Daily calibration and assembly assistance for dust pumps and noise badges.
• Routing and filing of reports.
