Job summary

NTT DATA in Johannesburg is seeking a Software Quality Assurance / Testing Engineer focusing on ServiceNow. The role covers hands-on testing across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with QA, BAs, and development teams to ensure quality and timely feedback to sprints and releases.

Responsibilities include building automated tests in ServiceNow ATF, executing functional and regression tests, and supporting UAT with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Hands-on QA testing experience in ServiceNow or enterprise platforms.
Ability to design clear test cases and acceptance criteria.
Experience with functional, regression, and integration testing in an agile setting.

Responsibilities

Execute functional, regression, integration and exploratory testing across ServiceNow developments per QA plan.
Write clear, structured test cases and scripts from user stories.
Develop and maintain automated tests in ServiceNow ATF and expand coverage.
Lead regression testing ahead of releases and upgrades using automated suites.
Log, track and retest defects with clear, reproducible reports.
Support UAT coordination including environments, data, and stakeholder guidance.
Maintain test scripts in shared repository and update with platform changes.
Contribute to quality reports with test execution status and metrics.
Participate in sprint ceremonies to ensure testability from story to delivery.
