Job summary

ABB South Africa (Pty) Ltd. is seeking a senior operations leader to drive day-to-day execution and deliver superior customer service in the LV/MV service and switchgear domain.

You will steer lean operations, optimize costs across the value chain, and implement the local operations strategy for the designated area. You will lead project managers, engineering and field service teams, with a focus on safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in LV & MV service, switchgears and turnkey MV substation projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Project Management.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities; English required; French/Portuguese optional.
• Current EB licenses valid in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Lead local operations with accountability for day-to-day execution and customer satisfaction.
• Drive lean and faultless operations across the extended value chain and optimize cost.
• Create, implement and review the operations strategy for the designated area.
• Guide, motivate, and develop direct and indirect reports.
