Job summary

ABB South Africa (Pty) Ltd. is seeking a Procurement professional to handle end-to-end purchasing aligned with policies and project needs. You will initiate POs, manage supplier delivery, and monitor performance while negotiating favorable terms and driving frame agreements.

Strong collaboration with Engineering/Project teams is essential. The role requires expertise in SAP ERP/SAP Ariba and MS Excel, plus a Procurement and Logistics qualification.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Initiate Purchase Orders in the system according to requisitions and standard procedures.
• Confirm delivery with suppliers and monitor/track supplier performance to PO requirements.
• Negotiate agreements with main suppliers and renew price lists/terms.
• Recommend and execute frame agreements upon approval.
• Analyse and evaluate bids to determine optimal value.
