Job summary

Groupe CFAO in South Africa is seeking a SERVICE ADVISOR M/F to join our team. You will respond to customer queries, assist with enquiries, bookings and vehicle collection, and liaise with the Foreman to ensure quality service.

You will aim to meet daily labour sales targets, prepare job cards, authorize parts, and provide clear feedback to customers on services and any follow-ups. Fluency in Afrikaans and English is valued.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ dealership experience in a Service Advisor position.
• Competency to use the inhouse system and basic computer literacy.
• Clean criminal record and a valid unendorsed SA driver's license.
• Fluent business communication in Afrikaans and English.

Responsibilities

• Comply with internal/group service standards and procedures.
• Communicate and respond to customer queries in person, email or phone.
• Assist customers with enquiries, bookings, scheduling services and collection.
• Liaise with Foreman to ensure quality workmanship and productivity in service.
• Achieve daily labour sales targets to meet monthly budgeted figures.
• Prepare and manage job cards and technician notes with service details.
• Ensure all vehicles are serviced to requirements and franchise standards.
• Authorize parts and follow up on outstanding parts on order.
• Provide thorough feedback to customers on services done or outstanding.
• Contact customers and sell additional services such as maintenance plans.
• Ensure costs, invoices and claims are completed daily.
• Manage customer complaints quickly for satisfaction and retention.
• Build continuous positive experiences and relationships with customers.
• Maintain high productivity and CE targets; perform ad hoc admin as required.

• Authorise the required parts to be ordered and follow up on outstanding parts on order.
• Provide thorough feedback to the customer regarding services done and/ or outstanding.
• Contact existing and potential customers and sell additional services e.g. maintenance plans.
• Ensure that all costs, invoices, and claims are accurately completed daily.
• Manage customer complaints quickly and effectively for optimal customer satisfaction.
• Build continuous positive customer experiences and –relationships for enhanced customer satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure that satisfactory CE levels are achieved as per manufacturing targets.
• Continuously maintain high levels of productivity.
