SEO Specialist – Somewhere

Priority Location: Any

Working Hours: 8AM - 5PM EST (Mon - Fri)

Salary Range: USD 2000 - 3500 per month (final offer at the client’s discretion depending on interview result, skills, and experience.)

Role Overview

The SEO Specialist has broad digital marketing knowledge with a strong expertise in SEO. Their primary responsibility will be to support clients with on‑page and off‑page optimisation, technical SEO enhancements, and keyword‑targeted content recommendations to drive organic visibility and rankings. The right person will also bring a broad understanding of digital marketing and the ability to perform basic cross‑functional tasks within SEO, PPC, and content marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and mapping
• Optimize site structure, metadata, and content for search engines
• Implement technical SEO improvements (site speed, crawlability, schema, etc.)
• Set up reports and monitor rankings, organic traffic, and performance metrics
• Execute competitor analysis and content gap analysis
• Draw insights from key metrics and performance data
• Manage and optimise Google Business Profiles
• Build and maintain a strong local SEO presence
• Recommend content opportunities to support SEO strategy
• Collaborate with the Content Specialist for SEO‑friendly copy
• Make recommendations to the project manager and client for key optimisation tactics
• Execute tasks accurately and on time
• Build reports and maintain client‑facing dashboards and workbooks
• Stay up‑to‑date with latest search engine trends and best practices
• Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years in SEO execution
• Strong understanding of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
• Proven track record improving search visibility and rankings
• Comfortable in a client‑facing role
• Experience working with US‑based small and mid‑sized businesses
• Experience with SE Ranking software is a plus
