Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a prestigious winery in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. You will oversee major operational and expansion projects, from vineyard development to new facility construction, ensuring quality and sustainability.

The role requires 7+ years of PM experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with PM tools like MS Project and Agile. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and manage budgets in a dynamic wine production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of project management experience in operations or capital projects.
• Wine/beverage industry experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies and tools (MS Project, Agile).

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of major winery operations and expansion projects.
• Manage vineyard development, cellar upgrades, bottling line enhancements, and new facilities.
• Develop project plans with scope, budgets, timelines, risks, and resources.
• Oversee procurement and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors.
• Lead cross-functional teams including winemakers, engineers, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, health and safety standards.
• Monitor progress, manage budgets, and report to senior management.
• Mitigate risks and drive timely project completion.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders and contribute to strategic improvements.
