Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Wind Turbine Technician or in a similar complex role.
• Relevant technical qualification (e.g., NQF Level 4 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Fitting/Instrumentation) or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions with a focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
• Diagnose and repair complex faults using specialized tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical documentation.
• Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, and cleaning of turbine components.
• Ensure all work is carried out in strict adherence to safety procedures and protocols, including working at heights.
