Job summary

Scatec seeks a Senior Contract Administrator (Wind) in Cape Town to drive contract development for PV, BESS and wind assets. You will lead wind-turbine supply contracts, foundations, cabling, substations and grid-connection packages, coordinating with legal, procurement, and project teams to enable on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration across functions, and hands-on contracting experience with FIDIC-based frameworks in a fast-paced renewables environment.

Qualifications

• BSc. QS (Hons) or a relevant technical/commercial degree.
• 5+ years of construction contract administration experience with the FIDIC suite in procurement-heavy environments.
• Knowledge of NEC, GCC and FIDIC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Establish Contract and Procurement Strategies and assist in developing contract strategies for projects
• Preparation of EPC Contracts and Subcontracts
• Collaborate with legal, project management, supply chain management, technical management to prepare EPC contracts and subcontracts
• Ensure contracts minimize interface-related risks, mitigate schedule slippage, and prevent cost escalation
• Manage Contractor Selection: oversee prequalification and initial selection of key contractors
• Facilitate the tendering process, evaluate proposals, and negotiate to finalize contracts
• Commercial Management of Subcontractors
• Prepare Project Reporting and generate reports on Construction Contracts
• Provide insights into contract status, claims, cashflow forecasts and risks
• Lead commercial strategy and negotiations for Wind Turbine Supply Agreements and framework agreements
• Act as the lead for wind turbine packages across Scatec’s global wind project portfolio
