Job summary

Scatec is seeking a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator in Cape Town to support the Asset Management Team and O&M. You will coordinate procurement activities, ensure timely deliveries, and collaborate with suppliers across geographies in a fast-moving international business.

The role offers exposure to a global renewable energy platform, with ownership of procurement processes, bid support, and documentation management, enabling you to build valuable experience in the energy transition.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management is required.
• 7+ years in a similar role; 5+ years with Procurement Operating System.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement and logistics for the Asset Management Team and O&M.
• Visit ports with EPC and liaise with customs agents in foreign countries.
• Prepare RFPs, distribute to bidders, and assist with bid evaluations.
• Obtain quotes, lead times, and manage purchase orders.
• Maintain shipping and delivery documentation and manage customs documents.
• Identify logistics risks and communicate with stakeholders.
