Placements24 in Mossel Bay is seeking a meticulous Senior Well Integrity Engineer to join our operations team. You will lead the development of well integrity management systems and oversee maintenance across wells throughout their lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Petroleum Engineering, 7+ years in well integrity or related fields, solid knowledge of API/ISO standards, cementing, casing and downhole tools, plus strong analytical and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in well integrity, well operations, or completions engineering.
• Strong knowledge of well construction, cementing, casing, completion equipment, and downhole tools.
• Familiarity with API/ISO standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Experience with well integrity software and data management systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the well integrity management system in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular well integrity reviews, risk assessments, and performance monitoring.
• Plan and supervise well intervention and maintenance activities to ensure operational integrity.
• Analyze well data, including pressure tests, diagnostic logs, and inspection reports.
• Provide technical guidance and support to drilling, completions, and production teams on well integrity matters.
• Investigate well integrity failures and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
