Placements24 in East London, South Africa is seeking a Senior Well Integrity Engineer to enhance safety and compliance across oil and gas wells throughout their lifecycle.

You will develop and implement well integrity management systems, conduct risk assessments, and oversee inspection, testing and maintenance programs while collaborating with drilling and operations teams to uphold the highest safety and environmental standards in the Eastern Cape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in well integrity or related operations.
• Strong knowledge of wellbore construction, completions and production systems.
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies and WIMS software.
• Knowledge of API, ISO standards and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

This crucial role focuses on ensuring the long-term integrity and reliability of oil and gas wells throughout their lifecycle. You will develop and implement comprehensive well integrity management systems, conduct risk assessments, and oversee inspection and maintenance programs. Working closely with drilling, completions, and operations teams, you will play a vital part in upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental protection in the Eastern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
