Placements24 seeks a seasoned Civil Project Manager to oversee critical water and sanitation infrastructure projects in Centurion, Gauteng. You will lead project teams, ensuring timely, budget-compliant delivery of essential services with far-reaching impact.

This senior role requires strategic thinking and proven leadership across complex construction processes, coordinating with clients, contractors, and regulators to uphold engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of civil engineering project management experience, with significant water & sanitation exposure.
• Proven success delivering large-scale capital projects from inception to completion.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of water and sanitation infrastructure projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocation.
• Oversee contractor performance, ensuring adherence to specifications, quality standards and safety regulations.
• Manage client and stakeholder expectations with regular progress updates and issue resolution.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
