Placements24 seeks a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead planning, design and implementation of water infrastructure in Nelspruit with a hybrid work arrangement.

The ideal candidate has a Master's in Water Resources Engineering, Pr. Eng registration, 8+ years' experience, and proficiency in EPANET/HEC-RAS to deliver reliable water services for communities and industries in Mpumalanga.

Formación

• Master's degree in Water Resources Engineering or related field.
• ECSA Pr. Eng registration is essential.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive water resources experience.
• Proficiency with EPANET, HEC-RAS, or similar software.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and development of water supply, distribution and wastewater systems.
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic modeling for resource assessment and flood risk.
• Prepare detailed design reports, specs, and drawings.
• Oversee water treatment design and effluent management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and water quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support BD efforts.
