Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Operations Manager for its distribution center in Klerksdorp. This on-site leadership role oversees inbound/outbound logistics, inventory integrity, and compliance with safety standards to ensure efficient, cost-effective operations.

A strong track record in managing large teams and WMS-enabled processes is essential. You will develop strategies to improve service levels, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement across all warehouse activities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in warehouse management or operations.
• Proven track record of leading large teams and complex warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of WMS, logistics and supply chain best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and cost reductions.
• Commitment to high safety and operational efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities: receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping and returns.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs and service levels.
• Mentor warehouse staff, fostering accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
• Manage inventory systems and procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize stockouts.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Analyze operational data and implement corrective actions to optimize performance.
