Placements24 is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join a fully remote, globally distributed team. You will shape user experiences for web and mobile products, translating complex user needs into intuitive interfaces while collaborating with product and engineering to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

You will drive user research, create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes, develop scalable design systems, and mentor junior designers in a fast-paced, remote environment that values

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a consistent and delightful user experience.
• Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define design requirements and ensure successful implementation.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and other design documentation to ensure brand consistency and scalability.
• Advocate for user needs and best practices throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies, and integrate them into the design process.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers within the team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital design projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and information architecture.
• Experience conducting user research and translating research findings into actionable design insights.
• Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of typography, color theory, and layout.
• Ability to create interactive prototypes and communicate complex design ideas effectively.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.
