Placements24 is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer to lead transportation studies and road design projects in Klerksdorp, North West. You will shape mobility infrastructure, mentor engineers, and liaise with clients to deliver robust solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a BEng in Civil Engineering with a transportation focus, Pr.Eng. registration, 8+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PTV Vissim and SIDRA.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Transportation focus.
• Pr.Eng. with ECSA registration.
• 8+ years in transportation engineering, road design and traffic engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PTV Vissim, SIDRA.
• Knowledge of SA road design standards (RED BOOK).
• Excellent report writing, communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead transportation studies, traffic impact assessments, and network analyses.
• Design road alignments, intersections and interchanges.
• Develop traffic signal timing plans and operations strategies.
• Prepare technical specs, drawings and tender documents.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimations.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Manage project schedules, budgets and client relationships.
• Present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with SA road design standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with urban planners and other engineers.
