Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Principal Consultant with a focus on Business Transformation to lead complex client programs in Durban. You will drive strategic change across organizational design, digital initiatives, and process improvements, while mentoring junior consultants and maintaining executive-level relationships.

The role requires an advanced degree (MBA/MSc) and 10+ years in management consulting with a proven track record of large-scale transformations.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (MBA or MSc) with professional certifications preferred.
• 10+ years of management consulting experience with business transformation focus.
• Proven track record leading complex, multi-year transformations for large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of large-scale business transformation programs for clients.
• Develop and implement strategies for operational excellence, digital transformation, and organizational restructuring.
• Manage client relationships at the executive level as trusted advisor.
• Mentor and guide junior consultants, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
• Conduct advanced analysis of client business models to identify value drivers.
