Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in test automation.
• Solid working knowledge of Playwright or transferable tools such as Selenium.
• SQL fundamentals including PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with test management, quality assurance practices, reporting and defect tracking.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles, APIs and system integration concepts.
• Service stubbing / mocking using Node.js is advantageous.
• Exposure to Kafka, event-driven architecture, AWS cloud services or credit / financial services environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and run end-to-end automated test suites that give the team real confidence before anything ships.
• Own test coverage across credit product flows from origination and account management through to behavioural and data-driven processes.
• Write and maintain service stubs and mocks so testing can happen independently of live systems.
• Query and validate data using SQL, making sure the right outcomes land in the right places.
• Track, report and communicate test results clearly surfacing risks early so the team can act on them.
• Share what you know support and guide less experienced engineers as the team grows.
