Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecoms Business Analyst in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. You will bridge business needs and technical solutions for telecom products and services, gathering requirements and documenting functional specs.

You will work with product, IT, marketing and operations to ensure solutions deliver value. Strong analysis, communication and Agile experience are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within telecommunications.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications products and services (mobile, broadband, VoIP).
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and process modeling.
• Proficiency with BA tools and techniques (e.g., UML, BPMN).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Mpumalanga business environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, define, and document business requirements for telecommunications products, services, and systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with business and technical teams.
• Develop process flows, use cases, and data models to illustrate requirements.
• Support the design and testing phases of projects, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
• Conduct gap analysis between current state and desired future state.
• Assist in the prioritization of requirements and backlog management.
• Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in business analysis and telecommunications.
