Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecommunications Software Developer to join a remote-focused engineering team. You will design, code, test, and deploy scalable software for telecom applications, including network management and signaling systems.

The role demands 5+ years in telecom software with expertise in C++, Java, Python and protocols like SIP/SS7/Diameter/TCP/IP. RTOS, embedded systems, cloud basics, and CI/CD experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE or related field; Master's is a plus.
• 5+ years of professional software development with telecom focus.
• Strong proficiency in C++, Java, or Python.
• Solid knowledge of SIP, SS7, Diameter, or TCP/IP.
• Experience with RTOS and embedded systems development.
• Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and distributed systems familiarity.
• Experience with Agile and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain telecom software.
• Write clean, well-documented code in C++, Java, or Python.
• Collaborate with PMs and architects on requirements.
• Implement and test modules for performance, reliability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
• Troubleshoot defects in prod and development environments.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge.
• Develop automated testing frameworks to ensure quality.
• Stay updated with telecom tech trends.
• Contribute to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
