Outsized is seeking a Senior Telecom Software Engineer to design, build, integrate, and operate next‑gen telecom platforms in a complex OSS/BSS landscape.

The role requires hands-on experience in MNO/MVNO environments with strong backend skills and API-led integration across multiple domains. You will work in a cloud-native, microservices context focused on modern engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years hands-on Telecom OSS/BSS experience.
• Strong backend development with Java and/or C#.
• Experience building/integrating across multiple OSS/BSS domains.
• Experience in MNO/MVNO/broadband/FTTH/FWA/satellite environments.
• Strong API-led integration and distributed systems experience.
• Understanding of cloud-native architecture, microservices, and modern engineering practices.
• Experience working across legacy, vendor, and modern tech environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across billing, provisioning, ordering, and usage systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support complex telecom software platforms and services.
• Develop scalable, cloud-native applications using Java and/or C#.
• Build reusable platform capabilities and avoid sole vendor-product customization.
• Deliver solutions across OSS/BSS domains: customer management, catalog, orders, provisioning, charging, billing, and settlements.
• Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven integration solutions.
• Support orchestration, workflows, and state-machine capabilities.
• Apply TM Forum Open APIs and Open Digital Architecture principles where relevant.
• Implement CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated testing, and infrastructure automation.
• Support monitoring, observability, incidents, and production reliability.
