Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecom Cloud Engineer to join a fully remote team. You will architect, deploy, and manage cloud-based telecom infrastructure, focusing on scalable, resilient services and cost-aware design.

Key tasks include IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, automation of provisioning, and migrating on-prem functions to cloud. Strong collaboration with dev and ops is essential to deliver reliable, secure network services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud engineering within telecom network environments.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP networking services.
• Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable telecom solutions on public cloud platforms.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automate network provisioning, configuration, and management processes.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams for seamless integration.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize costs.
• Lead migration of on-prem network functions to cloud architectures.
