The role requires 8+ years in network security and relevant certifications, with a strong emphasis on NIST/ISO frameworks and remote collaboration skills for a global, telecom-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network security engineering.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Knowledge of network protocols, security technologies, and threat vectors.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or CISM are desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain advanced network security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, SIEM).
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and pentests.
• Develop and enforce security policies across the telecom network.
• Respond to security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and implement remediation.
• Stay updated on threats and update security measures accordingly.
• Provide security guidance to engineering and operations teams.
