Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Telecommunications Network Specialist to manage and optimize the company’s telecoms infrastructure in Klerksdorp, North West. You will oversee PBX, VoIP, data circuits, and security, while planning upgrades and coordinating with service providers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years’ experience in telecom networks, strong VoIP knowledge, and relevant certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+). This on-site role offers growth and stability in the North West region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a telecommunications network role.
• Proven IP telephony (VoIP) expertise.
• CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily telecom network operations including PBX, VoIP, and data circuits.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot voice/data quality and connectivity.
• Implement network security measures to protect data.
• Plan upgrades and expansions to meet business needs.
• Liaise with providers to resolve issues and manage SLAs.
• Maintain inventory and documentation of network assets.
