Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecom Network Deployment Manager for a fully remote role, overseeing major nationwide network rollout initiatives in South Africa. You will plan, execute, and close complex fibre and wireless deployments, coordinating remote teams and vendors to meet time, budget, and quality targets.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in telecom deployment, strong leadership, stakeholder management, and expertise in MS Project/Jira.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in telecommunications network deployment and project management.
• Proven success in managing large-scale fibre optic and/or wireless network rollouts.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, deployment methodologies, and technologies.

About the Role

Our client, a global leader in telecommunications infrastructure deployment, is actively seeking a seasoned Senior Telecom Network Deployment Manager to oversee and drive large-scale network rollout projects. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage operations and teams from anywhere, with a focus on optimizing deployment strategies across South Africa. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing complex network projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in project management within the telecoms sector, a deep understanding of network technologies (including fibre and wireless), and proven leadership capabilities.
