Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecom Network Architect to join a fully remote engineering team. You will design scalable, resilient telecom network solutions, lead architecture roadmaps, and guide engineers across distributed systems in a remote setting.

Requirement: 10+ years in telecom architecture, strong knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and segment routing; experience with OpenStack, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure; advanced degrees in relevant fields.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in telecom network design and architecture, with a strong focus on service provider networks.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and segment routing.
• Extensive experience with virtualization, containerization, and cloud technologies (OpenStack, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure).
• Demonstrated ability to architect complex, large-scale distributed systems and high-availability solutions.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills for remote collaboration.
